What is Village Arts?

Our Mission

Village Arts of Colorado Springs is a charitable and educational Christian arts community established to foster artistic growth through involvement in the arts, while reflecting a Christian worldview and maintaining a commitment to the highest artistic values.

Our Vision

Village Arts endeavors to embrace what is good and true and beautiful—and recognizes the author of these things is God himself. As people made in the image of God, we have been given the gift of creativity and find joy and fulfillment in its expression. While artistic expression has value in and of itself, it can also be a powerful voice speaking into the lives of individuals, the community and culture. Village Arts desires to honor God—the giver of artistic gifts—through our programs and performances.

Our Goal

Village Arts is dedicated to creating excellent multi-generational performances and educational opportunities throughout the Pikes Peak region—in music, dance, theatre and the literary and visual arts. We are committed to being a place where artistic gifts can be nurtured in the context of Christian community and outreach, while providing participants a sense of purpose—through giving, along with encouragement and excellent mentoring.
